NEWS - September 2008

September 14th, 2008

Well it’s been a while since our last newsletter! Our last update was at the end of March when I threw Rory into the deep end as I took off on my European holiday. Since I have been back we have been just so busy and I cannot believe it is September!

Like the painter whose house needs a lick of paint, the Swish website has been screaming for a little TLC since my return from Europe. While we are careful not to let things get dated, there’s still lots we could be doing to provide a better service to our clients.

So when you get a chance take a look around the site if you haven’t been there for while! We have added in some of our latest projects as well as a new blog. This presents you with the chance to ask us all of those nagging questions you’ve alway had. Questions like “How do I get my website to appear higher in Google?”

On the home page you will see a link to our Healthy Site website where you can give your website a quick check up and now on the graphic design and website design pages there are quote request forms. This means we should be able to provide you with a pretty solid straight up quote for your project without having to go back and forth too much.

Also - keep an eye out in the mail in the next week or so as we are sending out the 2008-09 Swish pricelist. This should make things a little easier when you are doing your budgeting for the year to come.

Kelly

Well first things first - Rory and I have some annual leave coming up soon and while it is not ideal, there will be a few days in October when the office will be unattended. If you could factor these dates into your timelines it would be greatly appreciated!

  • Kelly in Sydney: Friday 3rd to Monday 6th October
  • Kelly and Rory both away: Monday 6th, Thursday 9th and Friday 10th October.

Secondly, having Rory on the team brings extensive printing experience to Swish Design. No matter how big or small your job is - from stationery printing to annual reports to large format banners, Rory knows the best supplier for the job. This means he can source printing for you at the most competitive prices so if you’d like him to quote on a job for you, drop him an email: rory@swishdesign.com.au

Rocworth Website
Ben from Rocworth came to us with a very detailed brief making it super easy to deliver his project in line with expectations! The site is simple, uncluttered and stylish. Check it out here!

West Cape Website
The West Cape website has been on their to do list for over a year now! Well we finally managed to nail them down long enough to extract a brief and the end result is very tidy and corporate. We like it!

Trappist Logo & Launch
The Belgian Beer Cafe in Perth needed an identity for their new tapas bar. Trappist on King was the name and we were able to work up a logo that reflected an Old World European feel. Read more here.
