Recent Website Launches
May 16th, 2010March and April were busy months for Swish Design with several website launches. We wish we could tell you about all of them, but for the sake of brevity and readability, we are keeping the list to three!
Margaret River Beach Houses
Whenever we combine forces with the talented team at Afay Communications the final result is always a winner. This site is one of our favourite designs ever and illustrates what you get when a website is well thought out and briefed before the design process starts. Visit the site at http://margaretriverbeachhouses.com.au. This site was coded in php with drop down menus and has a simple, unintrusive flash animation in the header area. The site content has also been SEO copywritten and all elements on the site have been optimised for search engines.
The Players Show
Where do you get the Dockers’ Paul Hasleby and the Eagles’ Andrew Embley playing on the same team? That would be on The Players Show - Monday nights from 6-8pm on 91.3 Sport FM. Hosted by Luke McManus with special comments from Anthony Van Der Wielen, The Players Show is a lighthearted look at the weekend’s AFL games and always includes great interviews with players from all over the league. You can listen to the show live on Sport FM, or via website streaming on perthnow.com.au. If you miss a show you can listen to or download the show podcasts and interviews from The Players website. You can also get involved yourself by joining their footy tipping competition or giving your team a rev up via their Launching Pad segment.
This site was built using Wordpress as a Content Management System (CMS) platform which means the guys can update the site and add show details and podcasts themselves.
Cycle Sense = Excellence
Launched just last week, we created both the identity and the website for this new entry in the cycle coaching arena. Again one of our favourite designs (yes we have a lot of “favourite” designs!), this is another Wordpress based site which incorporates blogging functionality as well as giving the site owners complete control over their site content.
