I agree - it’s pretty slack that there have been no blog posts since November 2009! But I have my excuses - we have just been really, really busy! We signed off on a large number of projects in December which kept Rory and I very busy in January while Adrian was away in Japan. February came and with it even more new projects (on top of the regular, quick turnaround stuff) and all of the sudden - it’s March and I am wondering where on earth the year has gone! At Swish Design we are constantly examining our processes and systems to ensure that we are consistently in a position to deliver our services at the level our clients have come to expect.
A recent examination highlighted for us that there are certain things we do really well, and hence are really efficient at. The things we are most efficient at save our clients money because we bill in time. Conversely, there are things that don’t come so naturally to us and hence introduce inefficiencies into our workflow and slow us down. So what specifically did we identify?
