Missing in action

June 14th, 2010

Hi everyone

Just a quick one to let you all know that I (Kelly) will have reduced availability over this week and next.

Firstly this week. We’ve been waiting for 2 years, but finally our new house is built and ready for us to move in! Hooray. We will be moving over the course of Thursday and Friday so I will have very limited ability to reply to emails during that time.

Then next Wednesday I will be going into day hospital for some fun in the dentist’s chair. Teeth coming out and teeth going in means I will definitely be out of action on Wednesday and Thursday … but hopefully at least able to answer emails on Friday!

So during these periods, if there are any matters of urgency, please email rory@swishdesign.com.au or call the office on 9467 2903. Regular programming will resume the week after!

Can we make life even easier for you?

May 15th, 2010

It is probably the most consistent piece of feedback we get from our clients:

You don’t have the time or budget for market research and pitching of concepts. You simply need the job done - quickly and at a high standard! Read the rest of this entry »

What we’ve been up to in 2010

March 20th, 2010

I agree - it’s pretty slack that there have been no blog posts since November 2009! But I have my excuses - we have just been really, really busy! We signed off on a large number of projects in December which kept Rory and I very busy in January while Adrian was away in Japan. February came and with it even more new projects (on top of the regular, quick turnaround stuff) and all of the sudden - it’s March and I am wondering where on earth the year has gone! A cost effective way to manage your own website

March 19th, 2010

It’s one of the number one requests we get when quoting a website for a new client - “I want to be able to modify it myself”.

Unless you’re confident coding html or using a program like Dreamweaver, the only thing that will enable you to modify your own website is if it is built on a Content Management System (CMS) platform. Up till now - the CMS solutions we had access to would add at least $3500-4000 to the price of a website . This meant that for most of our clients, it wasn’t viable to have their website built this way. Read the rest of this entry »
