Given how easy it is to start a business these days, no matter what field you’re in, competition will be fierce.
So the next time you’re browsing around on Facebook or researching products and services on the web, take a moment to notice what catches your eye. It will be great visuals every time.
What does this mean for you? It means the quickest and easiest way to place yourself above the rest is by investing in beautiful design. Want to go next level? Ensure your beautiful design also tells a story. (Humans process visual stories more quickly than any other.)
This is where we excel.
Yes we create stunning brands. Yes we ensure consistency of design across all collateral. But we also mandate that every piece we design for our clients contributes to the story they’re trying to tell about their brand too.

At Swish we have spent 10 years developing a simple and flexible approach to creating brands; one that delivers highly successful brands that stand out in our increasingly digital world.
We work closely with our clients to comprehensively understand their project requirements and tailor a solution that ticks all the boxes. Our proven design process ensures all your requirements are met on time and on budget.
The first step is the most important - to understand your specific needs. The design brief document helps us to gather information about who you are, what makes you different, who you want to reach and what you’re about.
We then have you over for a coffee to discuss the briefing document and have an informal discussion about the brand we will be creating. This meeting allows us to discuss the expectations you have for the new identity and helps us get a good feel for the story your brand will be communicating.
Once we’ve met with you, we take all the information we have gathered and do additional research behind the scenes. We gain an understanding of your company from the target market’s point of view and ensure we are familiar with your competitors and your industry as a whole.
For the next step our team comes together to brainstorm concepts and ideas for your brand. This ensures we find the best fit of visual elements, execution and style. Each member of our team brings their own unique skills, experiences and design style to the table. By doing this we ensure each of our clients benefits from a combined 40+ years of design experience.
This where we sketch up the 3-4 concepts developed in step 4 that fit the established brand criteria. Careful consideration is given to size, shape, balance and form. Icon and typographic elements are narrowed down and sketches are developed from rough outlines to clear logo marks. At this stage we start to get a feel of the visual concepts of the brand and the visual elements are developed.
Once the concept sketches are drawn up and reviewed we present these to you and discuss the different approaches we have taken. This meeting helps us to investigate reactions and design preferences. From this meeting we narrow down the design to one preferred logo sketch.
The chosen sketch is created digitally and at this stage we investigate colour and execution styles. Once we have designed the initial logo mark we send it over to you for feedback and up to two rounds of changes.
The final stage is to provide you will a comprehensive style guide and brand usage document to show you your new brand will work and make sure that your identity keeps looks great into the future.
We’ll also visualise how this new branding will look by providing you with some design examples showing your new brand developed across different media and different collateral.
